Caption: This piece represents the inner workings of life churning inside a dystopian society: the flawed mechanisms that are difficult to comprehend and never perfect. I combined both metalworking and ceramics to convey that the fragments surrounding the work represent the facade that has crumbled, revealing a rusted and broken interior machine.
